“It’s Happening for You” is something that I consistently tell myself as I’m going through one of the most emotionally difficult yet transformative periods of my life. Art is such a powerful medium to promote healing, and I wanted to depict a woman breaking through the outer shell of who she once was, while watering her own garden with her pain. So many people struggle with the question, “Why is this happening to me??” I want to emphasize that these periods of extreme discomfort are oftentimes the catalyst for equally extreme growth, and you will be called to thoughts, actions, and opportunities that would not have appeared otherwise.
